Top Five of 2018

By Amy Horn

If you are looking for a great exercise, look back at last years photos and pick your top five or ten, but no more. This exercise is a challenge in removing any emotional attachment you might have to a photo and requires that you critically view your images based on exposure, composition and “wow” factor. At least, that is what I look for in my images. I have so many great memories from 2018 including travels along the coast, macro waterdrops, new studio macro photos and choosing was not easy. I did decide to keep it within my nature “water” themed images just so the group would be more cohesive. In order of appearance: 1) Elliot Falls, Lake Superior, MI; 2) Au Train Waterfall, Munising, MI; 3) Pinkerton Hot Springs, Highway 550, CO; 4) Sweet Creek Falls, OR; 5) Weathered Wood, Big Sur, CA.
