Have you ever heard a photographer say, “Tell a story” with your images? On a workshop a few years back in Juneau, Alaska we were behind an abandoned building where salmon were spawning. On a particular morning we saw at least 50 eagles attacking salmon. With so many active birds in the area I decided to focus on a young eagle just as it was pulling a salmon from the water. A mature eagle landed nearby and over the next 6 1/2 minutes the story of domination and rejection unfolded.
The images tell it all as it was a story waiting to be captured. Try it, you may like the results.
