In this introductory hands-on workshop, you will learn how to shoot High Dynamic Range photos as well as do the post-production of the combined images. HDR images are those that contain more tonal range than images captured using single exposure digital captures. An HDR technique is particularly useful in capturing shadow detail on images that contain a large difference between the highlights and shadows such as night scenes illuminated by artificial lights as well as other subjects containing a lot of contrast.
On the first afternoon of the workshop, you will learn the technique for shooting and editing the photos. Later that evening we will photograph neon signs on location at the Neon Sign Park in Casa Grande. The next morning you will use your own laptops and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom to do the HDR post-production on the images.
