Beyond Basics is for those who already understand the relationship of shutter speeds and aperture settings but want to improve their photography through composition and advanced manual settings. This hands-on approach will improve your photography as you use exposure compensation, bracketing, panning, and panorama techniques.

Photography instructor Sue Wright will lead this small group workshop and guide you in the compositional techniques to improve your photos, whether it is the rule of thirds, framing, or lines and repetition.  Demonstration ofon tripods, filters, lenses and additional accessories will help you understand photography tools and how they will impact the image you capture.

Don’t forget to bring a tripod (if you have one), camera, camera manual, charged battery, card,  and 3-5 images for in-class shooting and critiques.
