Spend three nights and four days photographing spectacular night and morning scenes in Bryce Canyon National Park. During the workshop, we will shoot sunset and blue hour followed by night shots with the Milky Way. There will also be two sunrise shoots at the most picturesque locations in the Park.

 

After arriving on September 8th, the workshop will begin on the 9th with a classroom session to introduce you to our itinerary and how to best shoot the night skies.

*Each cabin has two queen beds.  Couples or friends traveling together who would like to share will receive a $200 discount for double occupancy.

**If all participants have received their COVID-19 vaccination we will assemble, with social distancing for an in-classroom session.  If the group is not all vaccinated, we will offer sessions online via Zoom.

Please be aware that the shooting locations stated in this itinerary may change. Each day we will determine which locations are best based on lighting and weather conditions.

 

Day 1 – Thursday, September 9, 2021

Meet mid-morning in the conference room for introductions and instruction. Afternoon time on your own to explore the Park or just rest up for the sunset/night shoot. Depart the hotel at 5:00pm to be in place for sunset. Return to hotel about 11:00pm.

 

Day 2Friday, September 10, 2021

Depart hotel at 5:00am for sunrise shoot at Inspiration Point. Return to hotel after a late breakfast. Downtime until departure for tonight’s sunset/night shoot.

 

Day 3Saturday, September 11, 2021

Sleep in this morning. We will meet in the conference room late morning for a critique and post-processing session. Leave for final sunset/night shoot at 5:00pm.

 

Day 4 Sunday, September 12, 2021

Sunrise shoot on our final morning at Sunrise Point. Return to hotel for late breakfast and checkout of hotel. End of workshop.

 


Physical Rating: Moderate

This workshop will take place in the late evening hours with rest periods during the day.  Most photography locations will be at one of the various viewpoints, whereby keeping any hiking to a minimum.

Three nights lodging in the cozy Bryce Canyon Inn cabins, each comfortably includes a fridge, microwave, tv, and wifi.  Lodging is based on single occupancy, however, each cabin has two queen beds.  If traveling with a friend or companion, a deduction for double occupancy will be applied to your registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Should you find it necessary to cancel your workshop, the following cancellation policy applies – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • 91 days or more prior to the start of the workshop your deposit will be refunded less $100
  • 90 days full payment is due
  • 61-90 days your workshop fees will be refunded in the form of an AHPS Store Credit Voucher less $100 administrative fee.  The voucher is good for 18 months.
  • * 60 days or less until departure – No refund.

* If we are able to fill your seat and the workshop runs at full enrollment we will refund your workshop fees less the $100 administrative fee.

 

NOTE:  Workshop bookings including, but not limited to, outfitters, permit agencies, lodging and more are requiring firm financial commitments at 90 days.  Therefore, in order to continue to bring you to great destinations, we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy as outlined above. We recognize cancellations can sometimes be unavoidable that is why securing a Travel Protection Plan is highly encouraged.

 

Arizona Highways PhotoScapes reserves the right to cancel or change any workshop if our minimum enrollment is not met or if situations beyond our control arise that may create unsafe or undesirable travel conditions.  Any cancelation or postponement as a result of situations beyond our control, AHPS does not promise any refunds or credits.  If and when feasible, we will attempt to reschedule the workshop at a later date.  Alternatively, we may decide to issue you credit for a future workshop, or issue a refund, less any non-refundable deposits we have paid to workshop providers on your behalf.

 

Please note that AHPS is not liable for any additional participant expenses incurred such as airfare, hotel accommodations, or any other components booked outside of the workshop.

PAYMENT TERMS:  A minimum deposit is due at registration to reserve your space.  Please refer to the specific workshop for the required deposit.  Final payments are due 90 days prior to departure.  Approximately 15 days prior to the due date you will receive a reminder email that your balance is coming due.
