What if there was a spectacular, little known canyon that lies between Lake Powell and the Grand Grand Canyon that was almost never photographed, would you want to go? Well, there is, it’s called Marble Canyon! We’re going there this September and would love it if you could join us.

For every 6,000,000 people that visit the Grand Canyon each year, less than 1/10 of 1% would even know about Marble Canyon. It’s 65 miles of magnificent Canyon that eventually become the Grand Canyon and it’s almost never photographed. You’ll come away with gorgeous one-of-a-kind photographs from one of the most beautiful canyons on the planet.

Your lead photographer Shane McDermott has been photographing Marble Canyon for over 12 years and is willing to share with you his favorite locations. Highlights include many remote rim locations with miles of unobstructed views of the Colorado River running through the red wall gorge below. A 3000′ rim view of 4 massive bends in the Colorado River with no one else in sight!

On this tour, we’ll also visit Shanes’ secret locations at Coal Mine Canyon. Coal Mine is another beautifully striated colorful canyon and a true hidden gem of the southwest. We’ll visit secret locations few others know about. Again, you’ll come away with rare images of one of the most enchanting canyons in the entire southwest.

This workshop will also be a great opportunity to take your creative image-making to the next level. Shane has a unique talent for helping photographers break through their creative barriers both behind the camera and behind the screen.

We hope to see you in September.
