Bryce Canyon National Park is the perfect location to capture night skies.  Designated as an International Dark Sky location, Bryce Canyon’s high elevation, clean air, and remote location create some of the darkest skies in the country. This combined with its intriguing rock amphitheater and sandstone hoodoos make for interesting night sky foregrounds.

Join photographer and author of “Fun in the Dark: A Guide to Successful Night Photography”, Beth Ruggiero-York, and learn the best techniques for capturing and post-processing night skies. We will shoot the Full Moon rising at sunset and beautiful moonlit landscapes of the canyon. The workshop will include sunset and blue hour sessions. There will also be two sunrise shoots at the most picturesque locations in the Park.

Workshop includes

  • 4 nights single occupancy lodging
  • infield and classroom instruction
  • water, snacks, and group dinner
  • permits, and entrance fees
  • Pre-workshop webinar
  • Post-workshop critiques

Please be aware that the shooting locations stated in this itinerary may change. Each day we will determine which locations are best based on lighting and weather conditions.
