Ken was given his first camera a long time ago in a galaxy far away, as an elementary school kid, working with Kodak Tri-X film, and while growing up in Brooklyn, NY, using a basement darkroom. His greatest excitement in those days was pushing the Tri-X to ASA 1600, and he hasn't put a camera down since. Moving to Arizona 20+ years ago he has explored its many varied landscapes, and has thoroughly loved being a Trip Leader with Arizona Highways PhotoScapes for the last 10 of those years. He is also a portrait photographer, and a favorite theme for him is "Portrait in the Landscape". Outside of his regular day job he spends the rest of his time shooting for fun and learning, as an Event Photographer, doing High School Senior portraits, and the occasional wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah photographs. He is often in the field, but sometimes shoots in a shared studio space.
