BIOGRAPHY

LeRoy DeJolie's exquisite images of remote plateau landscapes reveal a poignant sensitivity to his Navajo heritage. Having grown up surrounded by the immense open sky and windswept plains of the Reservation, he now strives to craft powerful and memorable images of the landscape and people of Navajoland.

Of his stunning photographs he suggests, "These are the memories, traditions and images that I am compelled to capture and preserve for my children, for my people and the world for generations to come." LeRoy's gentle humor and nature leaves a lasting impression. He has become one of our most requested photographers by inspiring students to be excited about their photography and by teaching them to recognize the spiritual quality images can contain.
