Bruce Taubert has been photographing wildlife around the world for over 40 years. Although he loves to photograph anything that breaths his special interests are night animals, macro photography, and hummingbirds. Bruce has a PhD in wildlife biology and has taught photography at the junior college level. From Africa to Ecuador to Arizona’s rattlesnakes and moths Bruce enjoys showing his students the wild and unusual side of the animals we share the planet with.
Bruce is the author and photographer for a new book “"Wild in Arizona: Photographing Arizona’s Wildlife: When, Where, and How”. Bruce was the central photographer for a poster on the “Bats of Arizona” and assisted Dr Arnulfo Moreno Valdez in photography for the acclaimed book “El Cielo Reserva de la Biosfers Tamulipas (The Story of a Cloud Forest). Bruce recently co-authored with Amy Horn "The Art of Macro Photography" available in paperback and ebook versions.
